CHERRAPUNJEE IS FAMOUS FOR IT’S CLIMATE, IT  IS LOCATED AT EAST KHASHI HILL OF MEGHALAYAS, THOUGH WE KNOW IT AS CHERRAPUNJEE BUT LOCAL CALLS IT “SOHRA” , IT DOCUMENTED THE WETTEST PLACE OF INDIA AND ITS DEEPS GREEN FOREST AND VARIOUS HILL RIVERS AND FALLS BEAUTIFY THIS PLACE.

IT’S A PRETTY NICE PLACE TO VISIT IF YOU DON’T HAVE A LONG HOLIDAY.

 I RECENTLY PAID A VISIT THERE , THE WEATHER AND THE BEAUTY  OF THE NATURE WAS VERY PLEASING.  IF U BOOK A CAR FROM SHILLONG HE SIGHTSEEING TAKES U ONLY A DAY.IT WOULD COST U AROUND 2000 . THE DIFFERENT SPOTS TAKES ENTRY FEES AND PARKING CHARGES. YOU NEED TO KNOW OR GOOGLE THE PLACES U WANT TO PAY VISIT AS IF YOU LEAVE THIS TO YOUR DRIVER YOU WOULD COME BACK MISSING A FEW. SOME PLACES ARE REALLY VERY BEAUTIFUL AND PLEASING TO EYES. FOR ADRENALINE JUNKIES YOU HAVE ZIP LIMNING. BUT THERE WERE FEW PLACES WHICH DISAPPOINTED ME. BUT OVER ALL THE TOUR WAS WORTHY. THE CLIMATIC CHANGES ARE ABRUPT BUT IF YOU LIKE MONSOON THEN YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THE CLIMATE AND THE PLACES. ON THE LEFT SIDE ITS SUNNY AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE IT WAS DUSKY. THE CLOUDS WERE LITERALLY MOVING AT THE SAME LEVEL AT WHICH YOU ARE . IN ALL THE NATURAL BEAUTY MAKES YOUR HEART ROMANTIC.  THERE ARE SOME WATERFALLS AND ONE CAVES WHICH YOU DEFINITELY MUST VISIT.  The geography and weather of Bangladesh as same as West Bengal, It you Travel Bangladesh - Quiet villages and calm and soothing nature will welcome you, bird will tell you the stories of it nature, Small village earthen house and road tell you the history of Bangladesh, big paddy ground exhibit their uncomplicated livelihood,

If you get the chance go Sundarban and see the beauty of natural jungle, beauty of bay of Bengal and hope to see a glimpse of tiger or any other wild animals , the main part of this mangrove is in Bangladesh.

 The two longest rivers, the Ganges and the Brahmaputra in South Asia - where it flows into the Bay of Bengal a delta have developed in course of time. The mouth of the Ganges-Brahmaputra is a inhabitant of people around 3000 years or more , it is now an include the area of Bangladesh, east India and Myanmar history have come across many uphill downhill. Nature Of SundarBan

Sundarban is one of the best tourist places in west bengal, it is the biggest halophytic mangrove jungle of the planet. Sundarbans jungle is spreading over a vast area, measuring more than 10 thousand square kilometers that include the area of West Bengal and Bengaladesh. This is now one of the Heritage Tourist Places of West Bengal. UNESCO also includes this tourist place as a Heritage Place of World.

Sundarban as a Tourist Places :

Vast and clear view of inner canals, group of spotted Deer, Tigers majorly come here for deer hunting and resting. The region has small water logged area particularly where the wild animals can drink water. Bears are frequently seen searching for honey.

Sajnekhali Bird Sanctuary or Pakhiralya, your boat man can take you there and see various type of birds. Tranquil place - best time to visit during hours of daylight and best time of year is September to March.

Apart From this here have several Ghat for travelling.

It is Famous for its Tiger Sanctuary, Crocodile Park, different types Birds and other Animals. Matla and Vidhyadhari are the main rivers; these rivers are so wide and big that you can’t see the either of bank, where very small branches of rivers call “Khari” are flowing everywhere in the Sundarban. When your boat enter this deep forest surrounding “Khari”, hear the sound of different types of unknown birds you bound to cache by thrilling fear and excitement. If you very lucky you can hear the roaring of a Tiger which make your Sundarban tour more success. This differentiates Sundarban from other tourist places in west Bengal.

Honey and fresh Fish are very famous in Sundarban you can see fisherman fishing in front of you, you can buy this fish in very reasonable price , can fry in your boat.

So come to Sundarban, it is a must come place for you if you like nature, climate, animals, birds and fresh fish. It better to come Sundarban in a team and hire a boat either from Caning, Sandesh Khali, Jhar khali and boat for Sunderban. It is better to stay a night in boat to enhance your adventure.
